29 Jul Indian Wedding by Kate Aspen
Hey party people!
A couple weeks ago, I showed you a Bohemian Wedding I styled for Kate Aspen. Today, I want to share a Jewel-Toned Indian Wedding I styled for them. I am obsessed with the products in this line. You are going to swoon.
Links to the products and sources are listed below the photos.
When I was coming up with the concept for this shoot, I couldn’t figure out what I wanted in the background. It was less than a week before the shoot and it still hadn’t hit me…until I walked into a thai restaurant and the entire wall had this wooden ladder-like detail. Boom. That was it.
I just DIY-ed the wall by using two large pieces of plywood, attaching smaller pieces of wood with liquid nails, and staining it.
Since I showed you my “partyspiration board” for the Bohemian Wedding post, I thought I’d show you my board for this shoot. The partyspiration board is just a way to visualize the color scheme, the details, and the textures to make sure they truly do look good together. It helps give creative direction when planning a party and prevents Pinterest overload.
