Hey party peeps!
Have you gotten back into the swing of things after a holiday weekend?
Today is P4P history. The kind of history no one really cares about…but it’s history the same. I’ve blogged about yarn lanterns before. That was within my first 6 months of blogging (when I only had my phone camera to work with…pitiful, I know). Yarn lanterns can be tricky to make & REALLY messy. That’s why I thought it would be WAY more helpful to do a video tutorial on how to make yarn lanterns.
And I have a GREAT tip on how to make these lanterns without all the mess! Check it out:
I have to say a big thank you to Jim Sutton for videoing & editing the inaugural P4P video. I also must thank my handsome husband who got up super early to be my “stage hand.” He even managed to include some propaganda at the end of the video. ;p
What craft was the messiest that you’ve ever made?
Hope you have an AWESOME day! Next week, I’ve got a thrifty fall table setting that is a little different (there’s a lamb involved…yeah…a little different).
Party cheap!

Thanks Jen! My friend, Jennifer (that I helped throw the Secret Garden shower for) actually took the ones from the shower to put in her daughters room! I bet they would look so fun in a nursery…and such a cheap decoration! Mike & I can’t wait for that day! 🙂 Hope you have a fun & fabulous day & thanks again for stopping by! <3 Heidi Rew

You are a rock star! So excited for this “new” way of making yarn lanterns. I have made them a few times in the past 6 months and it is ALWAYS such a mess….so thank you 🙂

Heather…YOU are the rock star but thank you. I have made many disaster areas making these lanterns & I knew there had to be a way for it to be less yucky. ;p Thanks again, Heather! Hope you have an awesome day! <3 Heidi Rew

Heidi this was great and how funky was all that crackling! Your hubby is hysterical. BTW I +1’d it and because there was not a pic it pulled up the pic your plum logo so you might want to put up some kind of picture for pinners!

Kelley…I LOVE that you said that about the crackling! Mike & Jim thought that was the coolest part of the WHOLE thing! They were like, “Woah…that’s awesome! Can you do that again?” ;p Thanks for the tip about the picture! Hope you had a great Labor Day weekend! I really look forward to meeting you in person one of these days! <3 Heidi Rew
