Hey party peeps!
I know not everyone feels this way, but I can’t wait to jump feet first into 2013.
I’m ready to fail, to be frustrated but to get back up, to challenge myself, and to face my fears head on! When I am curled up in a fetal position half-way through the year crying that I just want to give up…PLEASE remind me of the previous sentence.
If YOU are getting prepped to ring in 2013 in a big way (i.e. sparklers, noise-makers, sparkly drinks and lots of food), here’s a fun little gourmet dip recipe.
You may even have all of these ingredients around the house from your Christmas baking.
Here’s what you need:
Cream Cheese
Honey
Cranberries
Rosemary
Vanilla
I only used a half of stick of cream cheese for mine (8 oz). If you want a larger portion size, just double the amounts below.
In a food processor, blend 1/4 cup cranberries with a teaspoon of fresh rosemary until crushed.
Add 1/2 stick of cream cheese, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla and 1-2 teaspoons of honey (depending on how sweet you want it) and pulse until combined.
Serve your cranberry dip with slightly buttered sour dough toast or crackers.
The saltiness of the bread/crackers goes really well with the slightly sweet cranberry dip.
I’m hoping to share one more New Years party project with you before this weekend is up!
Do you make New Years resolutions every year? Or have you given up on that?
Either way, here’s one resolution I hope you’ll always keep…
Party On!
