Hey party people!
Yesterday, I asked on our Parties for Pennies facebook page what you would like me to post about today: a free Easter Printable or Easter Craft/Project. Most of you said the printable but there were a couple that said an Easter project. Since this blog is all about YOU, I decided I’d squeeze both in one post. I aim to please. 🙂
The first printable I have for you is the Special Delivery Easter printable. I have it available in blue or pink. This would be the perfect little tag to add to your child’s Easter basket. Click on the link below to print out your tags. If you need them to be smaller, you can copy & paste to a word publisher document and resize.

The whole Easter basket was an incredibly inexpensive ensemble. Here’s the breakdown…
The basket came from Goodwill. It was $1.91. The plastic eggs were ones I already had from a couple Easter’s back. I took a scrapbook letter, adhered it to the egg and painted it white. When I pulled off the letters, it left a colorful message. You could even do this with numbers or Easter symbols.
The blue “grass” in the basket was made from something I already had.
I took blue tissue paper from my wrapping station and put it through our shredder. I did a curly-haired move by “scrunching” the tissue paper up so it looked crinkled. This resembles my curly-haired head when I wake up in the morning! Ha…scary. ;p
You could use extra tissue paper or even dig through some of those gift bags you save and find some scraps there. The more crinkled and messed up it is, the better.
If you only have a little bit of tissue paper, fill the botton of the basket with crumbled-up paper towels or paper scraps.
I did one more printable which can be used for children or adults. I only added one image on the page so it can easily be an Easter card. Just print it out onto white cardstock, fold in half and write an Easter message.
Easter Printable Beautiful Things by PartiesforPennies by
One of my favorite songs lately is a song by the Michael Gungor Band called “Beautiful Things.” I think it is so relevant to what Easter is about and the hope that the season brings. That’s why I added “He Makes Beautiful Things” to this Easter card. This season is such a beautiful reminder of hope. When things in life seem to be falling apart. When it seems like everything is destroyed, He makes beautiful things out of some of the most horrible situations.
If you haven’t heard the song, check out this video:
I hope you have a wonderful Easter…filled with chocolate bunnies, peeps and beautiful things!
Here are the Easter Printables I did last year, if you want some more options.
This Friday, I have an exciting interview to share with you. It’s with one of the most creative people I know! Can’t wait to share!
Until then…Party On, peeps!

Another win for Heidi! I printed out the Easter tags you posted last year and I was hoping you would have another great tag idea this year. I made goodie bags for my daughter’s Waumba Land teachers last year and will be doing something similar this year too. Thank you for the inspiration, Heidi!

I’m so glad Elizabeth!! Hope your Easter was awesome! <3 Heidi
