Hey party people!
How has your first week of fall been?
Every year, I struggle with how to decorate because I adore Fall decorations but I also love decorating for Halloween. This year, I found a way to decorate by combining both.
I made glow in the dark jack-o-lantern pumpkins. From the street, it looks like a regular Fall porch but when the lights go out, the jack-o-lanterns come to life.
(I am not good at taking pictures at night, so I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to capture the whole effect)
To create the jack-o-lantern faces, I just used frog tape to create the shapes. Then I used glow in the dark spray paint.
This was a perfect combination of Fall & Halloween.
The best part? No carving & no digging out the messy pumpkin seeds.
Hope you’ve had a great week welcoming the first week of Fall!
Excited about next week on the blog! Every day, I’ll be sharing different DIY Halloween Costumes (from babies, kids & adults).
Until then…
Party On!
p.s. Special thanks to our neighbors who let me stage this on their front porch!
