Hey party people!
As a host/hostess, you will probably find yourself having to accomodate various dietary restrictions. It seems like there is always someone that’s vegetarian, lactose intolerant, has a peanut allergy or can’t have gluten. I am one of those that can’t have gluten. I get really bad headaches when I do. I have also tried the vegetarian diet and avoided dairy (at one point) so I know that gluten-free cooking can be the most difficult. It seems like gluten is in everything.
I thought it may be helpful, if you’re planning a Thanksgiving dinner, to direct you to some great gluten-free side dishes. Feel free to pin this little graphic below but if you see a great recipe you want to try, please pin from the original source.
1| Grilled Artichokes with Garlic & Romano Cheese – from the Cutting Edge of Ordinary Blog
2| Gluten Free Stuffing – Gluten Free on a Shoestring (Love this blog! Great gluten free recipes.)
3| Butternut Squash Gratin – Better Homes & Gardens
4| Bacon-Wrapped Green Beans – no source listed
Even though there isn’t a link to tell you how to do this, I would think this is relatively simple. You’d probably need to boil the green beans for a few minutes first, then wrap in bacon & bake in the oven. They look so pretty!
5| Baked Purple Sweet Potatoes – by Civilized Caveman (I have his recipe app & LOVE it! I usually make most of my meal plans from that because my husband loves all the recipes)
6| Maple Pecan Butternut Squash – Easy to be Gluten Free

Hope these delicious gluten free recipes help you plan your Thanksgiving meal!
One more addition to these recipes are these “gluten free” labels. Sometimes it helps to have the gluten free dishes labeled. This helps the people with dietary restrictions keep from accidentally serving themselves a dish with gluten.
Simply print these off on cardstock, cut them out and attach to a toothpick.

Really great ideas! You do have to watch out for gluten. It’s in all kinds of seasonings, etc. where you wouldn’t expect it.
