Hey party people!
How’s 2014 going for you so far?
Hope it’s been awesome!
I know you may be over the holidays but I wanted to share with you our Christmas table. It wasn’t overly Christmas and I thought it may be inspiring for a wintry dinner party!
I tried to use what I had to create this tablesetting, so I ended up using a lot of greenery. For the placesettings, I created bundles of rosemary (from the bush in our yard) and sage (leftover from ingredients for the turkey). It not only looked pretty but smelled nice too.
The centerpiece was created from branches of an evergreen from our yard and pieces from our own Christmas tree. I added some ornaments & candles for the finishing touch.
My other budget-friendly touch was our chandelier. I had faux garland but it needed something else. For about $6, I got this swanky gold chain from Home Depot! It was the perfect touch.
Who else is ready to take a little break from baking? I love baking but after all that I did over the holidays, I think my thighs and I need a breaky break.
You don’t want to miss Monday’s post. I’ll give you the inside scoop on what is changing this year with Parties for Pennies and what that means for YOU!
p.s. This is YOUR official invite to the party… join in on the Parties for Pennies Facebook page, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram & Bloglovin!

I love the spa party showcased on the website. I am planning a similar party for my very prissy four year old and I want to know where you found the manicure kits. Thanks for the great ideas!

Thanks Tayaka! Oh your 4 yr old is going to love it. The manicure kits were found at the Dollar Store actually but it’s been awhile. Sometimes Target will have things like that in the Dollar Spot. Hope it goes wonderfully! <3 Heidi
