Wedding Favor Idea

Hey party people!
Wedding favors are tricky. Party favors, in general, are tricky. You want to give a favor that guests don’t immediately throw away, but you also don’t want to go broke buying expensive favors. Some type of treat is always a great pick for a budget-friendly favor. More than likely your guest will enjoy it, and it doesn’t break the bank. But, what if you want something a little unique?
I have a wedding favor idea for you that is inexpensive, fun, and useful.

Order personalized pencils for your guests.

If you’ve ever looked into ordering some, you may be saying, “Yeah right, Heidi, those are pricey!” They can certainly add up if you’re ordering them from a boutique, but did you know you can get them from Oriental Trading Company? You can get a huge assortment of colors for only $18 for 72 pieces! That’s $0.25/pencil. You could give one guest 2 pencils, and it only cost you $0.50.

What should you have engraved on the pencils? I had “Party On” added since I always close out with that. You could add a phrase that you, the couple, always like to say. You could add an inside joke. You could add an inspiring quote or phrase. Whatever you’d like.

You could package them in various different ways. I used a jewelry box for mine. You could use one of those plastic pretzel bags or secure with a ribbon and tag.
