Hey party people!
Easter will be here before we know it! These Easter Egg Cupcakes with Jelly Belly Beans are the perfect dessert to serve – whether you’re headed to a family Easter lunch or bringing treats to your child’s school. They’re simple and easy enough that anyone can make these!
Check out this quick video tutorial of how to make your own.
Ingredients:
1| Boxed Cupcake Mix
2| Cupcake Wrappers
3| Store Bought Vanilla Icing (I didn’t add any food color to mine, but they would look really pretty with Easter icing colors.)
4| Jelly Belly Jelly Beans (I used the Jewel Jelly Belly Beans)
Directions:
Cook cupcakes according to the box.
STEP 1: Melt the icing for 15 seconds in the microwave.
STEP 2: Dip the tops of the cupcakes into the icing. This creates a fondant-like covering.
STEP 3: For a “dots” design, cut a Jelly Belly bean in half.
STEP 4: Use the Jelly Belly beans to decorate the top of your cupcakes in Easter Egg designs. You can see some examples below (and in the video).
See…so easy, simple, but really fun!
