Hey party people!
I have more homemade gift ideas for you today! DIY Wine Bottle Stoppers.
These are so easy to make & are perfect as hostess gifts or stocking stuffers for the wine lover. The creative possibilities are endless so feel free to customize this according to the gift recipient’s taste.
Here’s what you’ll need:
At your local craft store, you can find these packs of wine corks. I got a small & a larger size. The small size seemed to work the best…just make sure you have a large topper on it to ensure it stays in place.
At the same craft store, I found these disco ball & green glitter ornaments. You don’t have to go with an ornament. You can try a plastic animal, an initial, an action figure (may be fun for guys), etc. The options are really endless.
You’ll also need E-6000 which is an awesome bonding agent.
STEP 1: Make sure to take off the tops of the ornaments (mine pulled right off with a little elbow grease).
STEP 2: Add a little E-6000 to the part where the top was & stick it on the top of the cork.
STEP 3: Hold it there for a few seconds and then let it dry overnight.
The key is figuring out the right proportion of E-6000 to apply. You want enough so that it holds well but not too much to where it spills out the sides.
I am a little partial to the disco ball I think.
If you’re like me, you need these wine stoppers in your life. I don’t drink a ton so if I want a glass of wine, the rest of the bottle remains in the fridge for quite a while before my next glass. And what better sight to see than a disco ball starring back at me?
Hope you’re having a great week! Christmas & Holiday party inspiration coming your way on Friday…with a bonus fashion portion!

Very cute! These would be great as stocking stuffers or holiday party favors! I’ve never used E-6000, good to know it has a strong hold.
