Changes for 2014

Hey party people!
I’m excited to share some plans and changes for 2014.
It’s hard to believe that I left my full-time radio job almost a year ago. All I ever wanted to do was radio & it was hard to walk away from it but it was needed for many reasons (you can read about that here). This year has honestly been really tough, in a lot of ways. It’s been a year of growth, of failure, of searching, and discovering. Through it all, I learned a lot.
I immediately got busy DOING after I quit my job. I wanted to prove that I had what it took to be a great voiceover artist, on camera host & actress, social media content creator, and blogger. Problem was that I was doing so much and not taking the time to strategize, to plan, to take time away from work.
This year is going to be different and this is where YOU come in. I wanted to give you a heads up so you knew what will be going down in the next month.

When I quit my job, I wanted to be able to share as many ideas with you as possible! That’s why I decided to post 3+ times a week, showcasing new projects, tips or recipes. The problem I realized is that I felt I lacked some quality in my posts because I was rushing and I didn’t have the time to dedicate to fine-tuning other blog-related maintenance. One of the biggest frustrations I have with this blog is that it is soo hard to find past projects. That must change. But in order to do that, I need to carve out some time to dedicate to making this blog a better experience for you.

So my focus will be on giving you better content and making this blog more helpful. That DOES NOT mean, however, that Parties for Pennies social media will be silent! Oh no! A TON of fun stuff going on on social media! Follow along, share your parties, inspire others, and be inspired…maybe even a little entertained. #PartiesforPennies

Total blog re-design is coming, hopefully this month, so if there’s something you hate, would like improved, or LOVE…speak now or forever hold your peace!
