Hey party people!
I know we’ve still got a ways until Thanksgiving but I was setting our Fall table & I thought you may want to see this easy placesetting idea.
We’ll call this the abstract turkey placesetting. ;p
Can you see the little guy?
To create this Thanksgiving placesetting, start with an apple or pear or even mini pumpkin. Tie a cute little ribbon around the stem (this can also be where you write the person’s name) and fold the napkin behind it.
How do you fold the napkin? Well…I’m glad you asked…
Step 1: Fold the napkin in half
Step 2: Beginning at the a short end, fold the napkin accordian style.
Step 3: The napkin should look like this after you’ve folded it.
Step 4: Take the top fold & fold it in half so it creates a fan.
Step 5: Use a paperclip to secure it at the top.
Set the napkin behind your little apple (or turkey head) and you’ve got a festive Thanksgiving (aka abstract turkey) placesetting.
Stop back in on Friday for a delicious gluten-free recipe!
Until then…Party On!
